1. Who is responsible for your data

NxDEV Solutions LLC (doing business as NX Dev Solutions) is responsible for personal information collected through this website. Our registered address is 1001 South Main Street, Kalispell, Montana 59901, and we operate from Colombo, Sri Lanka. You can contact us about privacy at info@nxdevsolutions.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need for the purpose described below. The information depends on how you interact with us:

• Contact form: your name, email address, subject, message, and any services you select.
• Project assistant (chat): the messages you send, conversation details needed to answer you, and a hashed version of your IP address to limit abuse.
• Blog comments: the name, comment and any other details you enter when commenting on a post.
• Clients and invoices: your name, email, billing details and project information, and payment records. Card details are entered directly into Stripe and are not stored by us.
• Website analytics: aggregated, privacy-friendly usage data such as pages viewed and referrers, provided by Plausible Analytics. Plausible does not use cookies.
• Server and security logs: technical data such as IP address, browser type and timestamps, kept for security and debugging.

3. How we use your information

• To reply to enquiries, scope and quote projects, and deliver work you have hired us for.
• To send invoices, process payments, issue receipts, and meet tax and accounting obligations.
• To operate, secure and improve this website, and to prevent spam and abuse.
• To show advertising on some pages through Google AdSense, where that is enabled.
• To comply with legal obligations and to protect our rights.

4. Cookies and advertising

This website uses only the cookies needed to run it, plus advertising cookies set by Google AdSense on pages where ads appear. Google may use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other sites. You can manage personalized ads in your Google account settings, or opt out at www.aboutads.info.

5. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed:

• Google Firebase (hosting, database and storage).
• Stripe (payment processing for invoices and payment links).
• Resend (delivery of enquiry and notification emails).
• OpenAI and Google Gemini (answers for the project assistant, when used).
• Plausible Analytics (aggregated website statistics).
• Google AdSense (advertising on pages where it is enabled).
• Professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, under confidentiality duties.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

6. International transfers

We operate from Colombo, Sri Lanka, our legal entity is registered in United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States, Sri Lanka and other countries. Where personal data is transferred, we rely on the safeguards offered by those providers, such as standard contractual clauses, where they apply.

7. How long we keep information

• Enquiries and chat messages: up to 24 months, unless they lead to a project.
• Client, project and invoice records: at least 7 years, to meet tax and accounting rules.
• Blog comments: until the comment is removed or the post is deleted.
• Server logs: for a short period needed for security and debugging.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to or withdraw consent for some processing. To make a request, email us at the address in section 1. We will respond within the time required by the law that applies to you. We may ask you to verify your identity first.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the data protection authority in your country.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

This website and our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other websites

This website links to third-party sites, such as GitHub, LinkedIn, Fiverr and app stores. Their privacy practices are their own, and we are not responsible for them.
