About

Hi, I'm Nadeera.

I'm a software engineer based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Since September 2021 I've worked remotely with clients through NX Dev Solutions, Fiverr and direct referrals, shipping production mobile apps, web and SaaS products, payment integrations and AI features for people in the US, Morocco, the Bahamas and elsewhere.

I work across the whole stack: Flutter and React Native apps, React and Next.js front ends, Node.js, Laravel and Spring Boot backends, Firebase, Supabase and SQL databases, and deployments on AWS and Docker. I'm also building my own product, Pactroom. It's a private project workspace built with TanStack Start, Fastify and PostgreSQL with pgvector, and its AI assistant answers questions from the project's own content, with citations.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Software Engineering (2:1) from Cardiff Metropolitan University, studied at ICBT Campus. I care about clean, maintainable code, clear communication and seeing a product all the way to release. I'm available for new opportunities, on-site, hybrid or remote, and I continue to take on freelance projects.

  1. Sep 2021 to present

    Freelance Software Engineer

    NX Dev Solutions / Fiverr / direct clients · Remote

    I run NX Dev Solutions (nxdevsolutions.com), my remote freelance practice. I take mobile apps, web and SaaS products, AI automation and payment integrations from first idea to production release.

    • Level 1 Fiverr seller: 25 completed orders with a 5.0/5 rating and repeat clients in the US and Morocco.
    • Recipians (client): maintained a production Flutter app with a PHP/MySQL backend and admin panel, covering debugging, security hardening, token-based authentication and in-app purchase billing.
    • Built n8n workflow automations for clients, and integrated payment gateways (Stripe, Razorpay, PayHere) and push notifications.
    • Shipped client apps to the App Store and Google Play, and supported them after release.

  2. Oct 2022 to Mar 2025

    Software Engineering Intern

    ePedia Pvt Ltd · Katunayake, Sri Lanka (Hybrid)

    Worked on games, e-commerce and mobile apps for client-facing products.

    • Developed Unity 3D games in C#, improving gameplay, interactivity and the overall player experience.
    • Customized Shopify stores to fit each client's needs and simplify their e-commerce workflows.
    • Integrated payment gateways with a focus on secure, reliable transactions.
    • Built mobile apps with Flutter and native iOS and Android.
